I RETURN.

I know I haven't posted in... hm, let me check... exactly forever ago, but let's put that behind us and watch some Potter Puppet Pals. Seriously. Go open another tab and do that.

...

Anyway, I found another cool anime. For those of you who don't know Hetalia, go look it up once you're done with the PPP. Trust me, you will never take history seriously again.
From left to right: China, France, America, England, Russia, Italy, Japan, and Germany. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Trust me, this show is adorable, hilarious, and really confusing at times. And the episodes are about 5 minutes long. Go watch it when you're done reading this post.

...

...

That would be now. Go. Shoo. Watch Hetalia. Thank me later.

Bipolar Scanner

Remember those chibis I was going to show you? My scanner finally decided it would be nice and scan them. (luckily for it, because I would have gladly killed it.) So, just for you, here are 3 new chibis!

Hiei attempts to see his Jagan eye...

Figures it out... (and sits there staring at it for a long time)

And then falls out of a tree. (the scanner still isn't my friend, since there was an ice jewel hanging from the tree that it cut out.)

Thank you and goodbye.

Various News

I bet you people who have to go to school tomorrow are jealous of me! Cause here in the South, we don't need actual snow to get off school for a snow day! And it's convenient, too. I had to get up at 5:30 for a swim meet yesterday. Swimming's fun and all, but getting up that early on a Saturday when I could have just gone to riding at 10 is cruel. The school better be glad they cancelled. Also, my school is having our annual winter musical, where I always try out, always do my best, always show up for practice, and never get a part. This year I'm a backup singer in Annie Get Your Gun, and I have a whopping 2 lines this time. Of course, it beats my past experience-out of all my plays, my 2 lines have been "Oh no, it was Two!" in Alice in Wonderland (5th grade) and "Immediate seating, there is immediate seating!" in Annie (7th grade). Both were summer middle-lower school plays where I should have gotten more of a part, being on the older side of the cast. But those parts were given to others, some of whom were younger, some older, some good for their parts, and some who couldn't read. Not that I think it's unfair or anything.

In other news, I WOULD have 2 new chibis to show you, but my computer is being retarded-it took forever to scan, then it wouldn't let me crop them or fix the coloring. And I don't want to post pictures with washed-out colors, hardly-visible drawings since I can't crop them closer, and the spiral on my sketchbook at the top. So you'll have to wait on those. I also have some pictures of zombies, but they, too, are hand-drawn and the scanner favors no picture. I would try injuring the printer but then I'd have to go get a new one and I don't want to deal with spending the money to buy it and waiting on it to install.

This is kind of a boring post, so I'll give you some pictures to laugh/squeal/barf/scroll away at.

Here we go!

Dear whoever drew this, I LOVE YOU.

HAHAHA, how right you are. (Oh, and can you find Hiei? It took me about 2 seconds and I will be ashamed if you can't see him.[No DBZ? Really? Internet, you give me a sad.])

This is my favorite random anime picture, mainly cause the girl looks a little like me and, while I would not be caught in that skirt, I wouldn't miss a hug.

Ooh, so pretty! Love the detail.

I don't recongnize many of these, but that doesn't stop it from being awesome.

Another cool anime collage. This one has DBZ (look for Goku and Gohan!) but no YYH. Gah, get it right.

Awww. ISN'THECUTE.

Love the Victorian dress!

Ok, I think I've shown you enough random anime for now. Check back later though!

Lessons Learned from Anime

-If it's bothering you, scream at it. If that doesn't work, you have a lot of work ahead of you.

-If you can't explain it, it's magic. It's ALWAYS magic.

-Ninjas can wear whatever they want, stealthy or not.

-If you're in a fight and someone does a weird pose, prepare to die.

-The main character will always be strongest. If the show is not about you, stop trying to beat them.

-Everything always happens within walking distance of the main characters. If it's set in the modern world, it's *always* Japan.

-If a character says they don't care about their teammates, it really means "SOMEBODY PLEASE HUG ME!!"

-If you don't know Japanese, it's unlikely you'll ever figure out what some things mean.

-If the hero gives you one chance to surrender, take it.

-Extras are fair game to any villain.

-There's always that one character that is not strong, funny, or otherwise significant. Deal with it, you can always draw yourself killing them.

-Every anime has a character that seems indestructible, but the heros will make up some random tricks to beat them. Always.

-There's always at least one character that starts out as pure evil, but ends up a hero.

-Anime hair doesn't work in real life. Just don't try.

-Only in an anime can you see a guy with long hair wearing pink clothes and not judge him.

-Three things you never underestimate: plants, light, and gibberish.

-Even the weaker, goofy characters get their moments.

-Everyone has a backstory. *Everyone.*

-Shirtless guys are infinitely stronger than guys wearing shirts.

-Old people are not always frail. Watch yourself.

-Heh, don't worry, I just have this giant gaping wound that would kill a normal human. I'm fine.

-Anything is possible. No, seriously. ANYTHING.

-Nobody ever hits their peak.

It's fine to post this somewhere else if you like it, just make sure you say where it came from. And if you got these references, please be my best friend. Thank you, goodbye.

Yep. This was in my newspaper a while ago. It's something about a beach resort in Florida. Past that, I've got nothing. (But 'Poote Vedra Beach' is pretty funny.) *snicker*
